Triple Whammy

As part of a 3-part suite for Renault UK focused on ‘Customer Delivery’, there was a requirement to teach the Sales Executives at the Renault dealerships across the UK the ‘story’ of every vehicle – stretching from factory production to the moment the customer drives away in their brand new car.

This was no mean feat. The journey a vehicle takes – the quality checking process, the factory and port codes, and any issues that can affect delivery – that’s a lot of information for one person to take in all at once.

Get the Renault Look

Our team discovered a fantastic isometric animation style on the Groupe Renault Youtube channel, and used it as inspiration for an on-brand art style for our own product. We used the ‘lines’ within these images to connect each scene of the vehicle production and delivery journey; the factory line became a railway, the railway line became a port, the port became the waves of the sea… right up to the dealership!

We also delivered an interactive ‘world map’ to teach about a series of factory codes and product lines, letting the user slow the learning down to a pace that suited them as they unveiled each location across the globe.

Good News All Round

Because of the volume and complexity of the content, we suggested a trio of 3 engaging animations, each breaking down a specific area of the process (specifically Supply, Lead Times and Delivery Risk Factors) in order to give the content a more ‘bite-sized’ feel, making it more accessible and avoiding an ‘information overload’ for learners.

Renault was truly delighted with this piece of learning content. Hearing your work being described as having  ‘a really impressive approach’ is a pretty awesome feeling.
